Generator fumes has killed a man, his wife and all his 3 children in Ipoyewa community of Ikorodu, Lagos. The bodies of the family was discovered by neighbours last Friday September 12th in their home. All five suffocated to death after inhaling fumes from a generator which they'd kept in their room. According to neighbours, the man bought the generator just two days before the unfortunate incident and was afraid it will be stolen if left outside so he kept it inside his 2-room apartment.

A Healthy Relationship

The desire of many is to find the right partner they will settle down with and be happy in life. Getting the right partner is good but its not enough; you must ensure that your relationship with that person is a healthy one. You can find the right partner and still have a miserable marriage if you don't take conscious effort to make your relationship a healthy one.
A healthy relationship engenders a Successful Marriage.
A healthy relationship is one that is whole, that grows and one that brings glory to God.
I have identified six basic keys you need to help you have a healthy relationship:
1: ACCEPTANCE: A healthy relationship is one in which both people involved accepts each other.
You need to Know that you are loved and accepted by your man/lady. Once a person claims he loves you, he/she must be able to accept you the way you are no matter how others feel about you. One of the ways to know if you are accepted is what the person says when you are around him/her, If he/she is always comparing you with people and always wishing you were like somebody else and doesn't appreciate you for who you are, you must know that you are not accepted by that person. So acceptance is one of the keys to check the health of your relationship.
2: Trust: Trust is also another basic key you must watch out for. Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth or ability of someone. A relationship without trust is like a car without fuel, you can stay in it as long as you want, but it still won't go anywhere. There are many people who don't trust their partner; you'll hear them say things like "I can never trust a man/lady, all men are the same" etc.
The man/lady need to trust each other to the extent that nothing/nobody can feed you lies about your partner.
Its not enough to know your fiance/fiancee loves you, you must believe he/she loves you. There are many people who knows their partner love them but they don't really believe it. They say things like "do you love me?, are you sure?, hope you are not cheating on me etc.
And also, don't try to demand trust, earn it or build it or show it.
3: SECURITY: A healthy relationship is one that gives security to the man/lady. Security is Knowing that you are provided for and protected, your interest and views are protected. And you wana know you won't be abandoned one day. Security in any relationship is very important. You must feel secured in your relationship. If you are always scared that you may be jilted or abandoned, it shows there is no security and lack of trust in the relationship. No matter how far apart you are, you must believe you are secured and once you doubt your security, it shows something is wrong in that relationship and you must try to work things out.
4: PURPOSE: Purpose is one of the key things that keeps a relationship going and healthy, purpose is knowing that you have a reason for living. A reason to live together. Many relationship out there lack purpose. Most youth this days just enter into a relationship for the fun of it. Nothing is keeping them busy, no important reason for their being in relationship except that they just feel like being in a relationship with someone. And once the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. Infact it is very important you ask from any guy that proposes to you his purpose, reason he wanna marry you and so on. Adam had a purpose before he starts a relationship with eve. I will advise you that if you are yet to discover your purpose, don't think of starting a relationship. Starting a relationship without discovering your purpose is like boarding a bus without knowing your destination. So take time to ask yourselves why are we together? What is our reason for being in love? And try to work towards fulfilling the purpose.
5:Commitment: Commitment is very pivotal to any relationship. The two persons in relationship must be committed to the relationship and pay the price in other to get the prize of a successful marriage. Commitment is a dedication, a promise or an obligation......thank you and God bless you

How to know when lady doesn't like you

Guys stop fooling around with ladies that did not like u
Following are the signs that ladies will show when they did not like you.

1. She ignores your calls:
This is the number one bummer. This was the first answer I was given by most ladies. You think because she gave you her number when you asked for it means she likes you or would pick up your calls. Think again! If all the time you call, she never picks up, maybe you should consider looking for another babe.

2. She gives you the I’ll-call-you-back flip-off:
This is very common. If she tells you each time you call her, “Tunde I’m so sorry, I am in the middle of something. I would call you back in five minutes” and then doesn’t, she probably never will. So, don’t wait around for it.

3. She’s always busy/”posting” you:
Okay, now you have her number and she eventually picks up. Then the moment you ask to see her, she tells you a million and one things she has to do: “My brother is sick, I have to stay home with him.” “I already have plans to hang out with my girlfriends. We’ll see tomorrow.” Trust me, she is probably home watching a Vin Diesel movie and eating popcorn. If this consistently happens, this is a sign. Brother, move on!

4. She says she has a boyfriend:
Sometimes, this is false, guys. She may not actually be dating anyone and would just tell you this, so you can get off her back. Some even go as far as saying they are gay. Although this doesn’t stop some determined guys. For these guys, keep on chasing, God is in control of the situation.

5. She is materialistic:
I found this answer rather hilarious. One of the ladies I interviewed said, “Its very easy, just demand loads of things from him, he would run away”. Today, it is her hair, tomorrow, it’s a car. Guys, a little expo, she might not actually be this kind of person. She just does not care about you and wants to discard you. So Romeo, look for your Juliet somewhere else.

6. She prefers dates in public places:
This is another sign. Every time you keep asking her out on dates or ask her to have dinner at your house, she looks for ways to shy away. She does not want to be trapped in an uncomfortable position where it would only be the two of you. No matter how hard you try, she would avoid intimate lunches or dinners. She might even bring her friend along. We all know guys hate this.

7. Friendzone:
This is very common among the ladies. You like this girl so much and next thing you know, she introduces you as her friend, or even tells you things like, “Tolu, I value our friendship and don’t want to lose you as a good friend”. Mister, I’m sorry to say, but you have been “friend zoned”. This one dey pain! Most guys like to ignore these signs because they feel she is just playing hard to get. Sometimes guys, this is not the case.

Guys let was wise by not spending our precious time with a lady that want to use us as a play boy, ATM machine, maga, so on. wise up and go for the one who love seeing u around and cherish your calls.

Message from Seun kuti to the married.

15 arguments a guy will never win with his girlfriend.

Guys are intelligent and smart in argument with their babes. But there are still some argument guys can never win and the best is to keep quit.

1. The “Be Honest” Fight “
Be honest. Do you think I’ve gained weight?” “Maybe a little bit.” “WHAT?!” “You said be honest….” That’s the thing about honesty — when someone asks for it, it probably means you should lie. Except when it comes to questions about her weight, her Bottom and her parents… then you should definitely lie.

2. The “Why Were You Checking Her Out?”
Fight Even if you weren’t checking out another girl, even your eyeballs could not have possibly looked in the direction your girlfriend is claiming, even if there wasn’t an actual female in sight. You’re never going to win this argument. And the more you protest, the more she’ll fire back. Take a tip from my senior history teacher: Always give her the view of the restaurant so your eyes aren’t tempted to wander.

3. The “I Can’t Read Your Mind” Fight “
I didn’t mean it when I said I didn’t want to celebrate our anniversary!”

4. The “I Caught You Looking At P.orn” Fight
Men are always getting caught looking at p.orn, and this time it’s no different. Tuck your tail under, tell her the requisite things she needs to hear and have some make-up s*x that’s better than the movies.

5. The “Leaving Flirty Comments On Facebook” Fight
Oh, so you thought we wouldn’t see that borderline slutty comment you left on that girl’s Facebook photo in which she so happens to look pretty darn good like a b*tch? Delete it now or else you shall feel the wrath of one thousand suns.

6. The “We’re Watching ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Tonight” Fight
We promise you’ll really like it in the end! It’s so good, there’s even Meryl Streep and we all just die over her. Thanks baby, you’re the best! Shut. It. Down.

7. The “Make More Of An Effort With My Friends” Fight
You know what you have to do. Even if it means dancing to Katy Perry and not touching your girlfriend’s Bottom for two hours.

8. The “I’m Drunk And Irrational And Need Attention” Fight
This fight is not unlike a Russian movie — it’s painful to get through and difficult to interpret, but there could be worse things, like needing to hold her hair back.

9. The “Why Do You Still Have That Unclad Photo?” Fight

Who the eff is that girl andwhere can I get her trainerdelete that sh*t right now. Why do you still have it and you better not have opened it since 2005. Congratulations bro, you just unleashed a whole load of cray cray, so make like a scissor and cut it out.

10. The “You Seriously Want To Chill With Your Bros More Than Me?” Fight
Do your friends have bosoms? Did they pick up those chocolate-covered bananas you like? That’s right. Didn’t think so. Go have fun playing video games and picking your noses with the guys.

11. The “You’re Coming To The Beyoncé Concert With Me” Fight
She’s an icon and you know it. We won’t even mind if you hold your balls the entire night to secure your manliness. Great, buying the tickets now. We love you like XO.

12. The “I Found Something On Your Phone That I Didn’t Like” Fight
So, we went snooping through your phone — clearly we needed to do some investigating. It still doesn’t compare to the perceived offensive text messages you’ve been engaging in. Regardless of how pissed you are that she broke your privacy, perhaps you shouldn’t give her any reason to do so.

13. The “Why Are You Wishing Your Ex A Happy Birthday?” Fight
We don’t care if she threw a “Billy Madison”- style birthday party and then offered you a gigantic slice of cake. We all know what saying “Happy Birthday” to an ex means: I’m still not over you and I want you to think of me on your special day. Her candle was blown out ages ago.

14. The “I Don’t Want To Leave This Party Early” Fight
Unless you plan on getting cozy with your hand tonight, you will stay with us until we are ready to leave. This isn’t us making a scene, it’s us relishing in the scene.

15. The “Tell Me You Love Me” Fight
This one usually doesn’t come out until you’ve fought about something completely unrelated for 20 minutes. Who said girls were complicated?

5 Important Things You Should Consider Before Saying "I do"

Most women dream of the moment when they are asked, “Will you marry me?” Many women say yes immediately.
However, it would be wise to consider this question with serious reflection because getting married is a great commitment that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
It is sad to see the large amount of divorces in our society today.
For this reason, before saying, "I do," it would be a good idea to consider some guidelines to help make your wedding day end in "happily ever after." Your marriage should last forever.
The reality is that the future is uncertain and nothing can guarantee a successful marriage.
Here, we would like to share 5 guidelines that can be useful to consider before making such a significant decision that will affect your life forever.
1. A long and formal courtship: This type of courtship will allow you to know your partner better. As you share meaningful moments, you will be able to see your fiancé’s different attitudes when facing a variety of circumstances in life. At the same time, you will be able to find answers to the following questions:
* How does your sweetheart react when experiencing anger, frustration or high level of stress?
* How does he or she treat family members?
* How does he or she react when you have a problem and feel sad? Does he or she support you or abandon you?
* Is he or she a hard-working and appreciative person?
* Is he or she jealous?
(Remember, getting to know a person better involves asking more questions than the ones previously mentioned).
2. Sharing ideals: Before starting a life together, you must discuss future plans. In order to function harmoniously, a couple must learn to share common ideals and mutual goals, such as discussing whether or not to have children, living in the countryside or the city, buying a house or travelling, seeking a degree or working and having a family business. These are a few of the many topics that you should discuss before getting married in order to avoid surprises. Since you know your future goals, it is good to discuss it with your fiancé to know if you both are on the same page.
3. Putting things in a balanced perspective: Imagine having a scale: on one side you place your partner’s virtues and on the other side you place his or her imperfections. If the scale is heavier on the imperfections’ side, you should think hard before saying, "I do." When considering all imperfections, you must reflect how much you are able to work through them. Some imperfections are not so profound, such as being shy or being less talkative. However, there are other imperfections that can cause serious wounds, such as certain addictions like alcoholism, drugs or pornography.
4. Pay attention to your fiancé's family values: Reflect on your loved one’s family values to make sure you are compatible. Once you get married, you are also forming a new family.
5. Analyze both of your economic opportunities: Starting a family involves serious financial commitments: buying a home, paying rent, buying groceries for the family, paying bills and other expenditures. Before getting married decide if you will have the economic stability to fulfill your financial responsibilities.
We would like to mention that these guidelines are not a guaranteed recipe for success.
Furthermore, marriage should not be taken lightly because it is a relationship that requires sacrifice.
Each story is different, each couple is unique and what may have positive outcomes for some people may not work for others.
Nevertheless, it is good to consider these principles because you may discover some interesting aspects of your relationship.
Above all, before saying, "I do," you must be convinced that you love your fiancé and that this love is reciprocal. Best wishes!
